Landing Page Design

Landing Pages that Convert

At Optimum7, we create landing pages that convert and maximize the ROI of your ad campaigns. There’s more to a landing page than an aesthetically pleasing design; they must be strategic and goal-oriented. A landing page must be relevant and targeted based on the ad displayed, with clear calls to action and a value proposition that entices a user.

Most landing pages serve a singular purpose, such as an e-commerce sale or volunteering contact information such as an email or a phone number.

The value proposition is what you as a company are willing to trade. What are you willing to provide the user for that conversion? This can be an ebook, a webinar, a coupon, or to offer free shipping for an e-commerce transaction.

The better your call to action and value proposition is, the higher your conversion rates will be. We call this a “Relevance Cycle” at Optimum7. This directly affects your CPA (Cost per acquisition or cost per lead) and your ROI.

Our Landing Page Design Process

Design & Strategy

When we build a landing page, our marketing strategists and front-end developers work together to create a targeted page that looks beautiful and converts.

Landing Page Copy

The copy of a landing page must be powerful. Every word serves a purpose and drive the user to take an action.

Split Testing

Testing landing pages is crucial because as a business paying for internet marketing, you want to get the most out of your clicks. Expert testing gives us insight on how to make your ad dollars go farther.

Data Statistics

We monitor the data as we test and launch landing pages to make quick edits or boost the winning aspects so that the campaign provides the best ROI possible.

What is a Landing Page?

A landing page is a web page specifically created to acquire conversions through traffic that comes in via paid search. Our front-end developers and copywriters collaborate to produce high-quality landing page design; this includes the persuasive copy with calls to action and the perfect placement of contact forms or relevant information. The goal of any landing page should be to convert users into paying customers.

Landing pages are designed to compel a user to take a specific action, such as volunteering their contact information or making a purchase.

For the purpose of online marketing, a home page wouldn’t qualify as a landing page since it isn’t designed to convert traffic from a specific marketing campaign. With great landing page design, businesses could see a significantly better ROI on their next digital marketing campaign.

FAQ

The purpose of a landing page is to compel the user to complete a single action.

Most landing pages fall into one of two categories…

  1. Lead Generation Landing Pages: these are landing pages whose primary focus is to compel a user to volunteer their contact information with a lead form. Once the website has collected the user’s name, email, or phone number, the user is typically entered into the company’s marketing funnel.
  2. Click-Through Landing Pages: Click-through landing pages  have a button as their singular call-to-action and are typically used for ecommerce purposes.

There are a number of different basic landing page softwares available to the public that are friendly to non-techies. Here are three that we’d reccommend:

  1. Instapage is easy to use for people without design experience and comes with a drag and drop interface and free templates for users to build off.  Instapage also has good tracking and analytics options, as well as many integrations with third party systems. The paid version offers even more options and integrations for your campaigns.
  2. Unbounce offers A/B testing and along with exit functionalities that increase conversions such as pop-ups that occur when a user tries to leave your page.
  3. Leadpages offers certain functionalities, like checkout timers, that other platforms don’t. While Leadpages is also one of the most cost-effective choices, they offer limited customization options.

Landing pages are not for general use and do not look like the other web pages, though they can be hosted on the same domain as the website. Landing pages are built to drive traffic for a specific marketing campaign goal. Websites house your entire business online providing much more information, links, categories, etc.
