Juan Pablo Pendas
Video Marketing Specialist
Born in Mexico City, Juan moved to Miami with his family at the age of 10. He attended the University of Florida where he graduated with a B.S. in Advertising and minors in Business Administration and Geography. During his time at UF, he developed a passion for videography, producing videos for the Florida Skateboarding Club as well as local artists and venues.
After graduation, Juan moved back to Miami where he started working as an intern at Optimum7. As an intern, he began developing the video production department which eventually led to his position as Video Marketing Specialist. His passion for videography along with his education in advertising, allows him to find creative and innovative solutions to clients’ issues using new media.
Outside of the office, Juan has worked as a cameraman for the Miami-based basketball tournament “Miami Pro League,” and volunteers as a manager at Villain Theater, located in Little Haiti, where he studies and performs improv comedy. He is also an editor for the Miami-centric online satire publication “The Plantain.”
