The Brief

Why Lab0 Needed a WordPress Migration

Migrate the Lab0 website (“LAB0 – Industrial Autonomy at Global Scale”) to WordPress and implement the new website design according to the provided Figma files.

The goal was to deliver a fully functional, responsive, SEO-friendly website aligned with the Figma design prototypes across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

The Lab0 website required migration from its existing platform to WordPress CMS to improve maintainability and user experience. Along with migration, a design overhaul was necessary to reflect brand identity better and ensure modern performance standards. The redesign focused on key pages including the Homepage and About Us page, ensuring they were responsive and SEO optimized.

Before and After

Before and After: Lab0’s Homepage, About and Contact Pages

Left side: the site as the Wayback Machine captured it, on the legacy CMS. Right side: the live WordPress site, captured Oct 2026.

The Sep 2024 homepage was a one-page site whose scripts never finish in the archive, so its opening animation is forced visible in the capture; the About and Contact captures are from May 2021, the last time those existed as separate pages.

Homepage Before and After: A Hero That Says What Lab0 Sells

The 2024 one-page site opened with a purple-to-coral gradient, the words “Autonomy is here” and a Discover more button. The WordPress homepage opens on a dark hero that reads “Autonomous logistics delivered”, a line about a smarter supply chain, and an Automate Your Warehouse button under the lab0 logo and menu.

Why it matters. The homepage was one of the two pages the brief asked to be built to the Figma prototype.

About Page Before and After: Leadership Leads the Page

The May 2021 Company page had a grey header reading “Challenging the Status Quo” behind oversized LAB0 letters. The About Us page today has a titled header over a city photo, a “Powered By Experts” section and a Leadership row of portrait cards.

Why it matters. About Us was the second page the brief called out for a Figma-matched rebuild.

Contact Before and After: From Separate Page to Homepage Form

The May 2021 Contact page was a white page with the same oversized LAB0 letters and a single form field. Today a “Connect With Us” section on the homepage carries the form and Submit button over a keyboard photo, followed by a “Start your journey now” footer.

Why it matters. The migration moved the site’s content into WordPress; contact now lives as a homepage section.
