Ecommerce Website Management

Ecommerce Website ManagementElectronic Commerce or Ecommerce is the buying and selling of products, either physical or virtual items over the internet. An Ecommerce website is also known as an online store. Online stores are created as an extension to a physical store like macys.com or as a sole web operated business like zappos.com. Many business owners choose to open online stores because they realize the opportunity to make money and see the potential, and growth in internet shopping. Having an Ecommerce store requires maintenance and marketing even if the inventory consists of a few products or virtual products like software downloads.

Web Design Jacksonville

Web Design JacksonvilleIf you’re in the Jacksonville, FL. Area and can’t decide on a web designer or a web design company, maybe there are a few things you should consider before picking a firm. With today’s technological capabilities, you don’t have to limit yourself to someone that is in your town.  You should also consider hiring a web designer that is also a full service internet marketing firm. For E-commerce businesses, it makes more sense to hire an internet marketing firm to design your website in order to implement important SEO strategies during the creation of your website. After the creation of your site, the internet marketing firm will maintain your site, through updates and changes as needed, but more importantly institute the regular ongoing processes of seo or search engine optimization to generate the coveted high organic rankings so necessary for online success.  No matter how great the design is, it won’t matter if no one can find you.

Efficiency in SEO and Internet Marketing

In our previous article we illustrated quite clearly how Internet Marketing is TRANSPARENT where traditional marketing such as Direct Mail, Print Advertising, TV & Radio, Billboards, Telemarketing are quite the opposite.

So, it would make sense that if you are dealing with a medium that is ultimately transparent and measurable, that you should be more efficient in your marketing efforts … AND … this is unquestionably true.  However there are human elements that cannot be eliminated.

The human element is mainly commitment.  Simply, here are those commitments:

Internet Marketing Tools to Stay Close to Customers

In recent writings, I have emphasized the importance of using efficient means of deploying precious marketing budget moneys during these tough economic times.  Clearly, staying close to your customers, while always important, is even more so in such an environment.  Internet Marketing again proves to be a valuable tool here.

Consider that 70% of adults are online as well as close to 98% of grade-schoolers.  The internet is now truly mass media and clearly growing in usage as measured in percent of time spent online.  A great deal of the growth in usage is due to increasingly large percentages of time spent “in the buying process.”  Adults are spending 20+% of their time online while teens and other grade-schoolers are spending an astonishing 45-55% of their available time online.

Internet Marketing: How to Cope with the Recession of 2009

by Arthur Cooper

Some say we are in a recession.  Others say we haven’t had any negative growth yet through the 2nd quarter of 2008 and you need 2 consecutive quarters of negative GDP for a textbook recession.  The financial and credit markets are predictors of the future and they are telling us that, any way you want to measure it, 2009 will be a year of recession, possibly a big one.

How I Do That “Creative” Thing

by Adelard Gasana

I have been trying to figure out why recently I’ve been able hit a home run with new projects, when in the past it was difficult to find the “creative” juice I need. I think I’ve figured out what motivates me into digging down into myself and connecting with the universe (life-stream, God, or whatever you believe in that gives you power and motivation), and channeling the energy that fills that blank canvas I am looking at.
