Guaranteed SEO Results… Really?

Nobody can claim "guaranteed rankings." For anyone who's in the process of seeking SEO services, this should be a huge red flag. Is it possible to guarantee the future strategies of your competitors? Of social networking sites like Facebook or MySpace? Or of search engines? Of course it isn't. Those that claim guaranteed rankings are telling you what you want to hear; not what you need to know. Be careful about “play on words” i.e. “guaranteed page 1 of Google” can be achieved by placing ads (sponsored listings or PPC) that will show up on page … this is NOT SEO because SEO generate organic rankings … the ones that fill the main body of the page.

Not getting Targeted Traffic?

When it comes down to it, I would rather have targeted traffic versus just traffic. Most logical people will. But what most web owners actually target is basic traffic. They do campaigns to increase traffic to their site, which in return wastes their time and money.
