You might actually be mistaken there. There’s a big chance that 1 link from a PR6 site is a “paid link”. Google recognizes this, and from all the tests that we have ran in the past and our ongoing research, we think that Google values the actual breadth of the domains, IPs linking to your site. Of course, this must be analyzed on a case per case basis, but I do not agree that one PR6 link is better than 1000 PR1 or P2 links. I hope that makes sense.

I just point out that 1 legitimate PR4 to PR6 backlink from a web PAGE with dofollow is better than 1000 backlinks from PR1 to PR9 websites with a PR0 web PAGE (where the actual link is from)

Everything counts!. Start with design, hire a company or freelancer specialized in seo focused website design. Then for a link building campaign from 2000 links at least 30% must be PR3 or +. Good hunting!.

I would partially disagree with that. While buying links is an option, we at Optimum7 do not encourage it. If you must buy links, make sure that it’s in the format of sponsoring an authority site. Also make sure that those links stay there for at least 8 months. The age of the backlink matters.

We just believe that those dollars spent on buying links are much better spent on writing content and syndication through articles, social media and etc.

There are so many articles in the Net regarding backlink but none I found is really helping. I guess like other businesses it is all about capitalism.

All internet experts are just making money out of nothing by providing misleading info.

You have money, you buy your own good back links. THAT’S THE ONLY WAY IT WORKS..

I have actually seeing a decrease in my presence on the first page of Google since my page rank increased from a 0 to a 3. Clearly, Page Rank is not playing a major role in my actual search results “ranking”…not sure why yet. I think I just need to give it some time.

Another thing worthy of mention on this post is the fact that if you write Quality content, quality readers will link back to your site and these are the best “traffic” generating back-links which are almost as important as the “page-rank” building links.
