Microdata and Google Authorship Data are today’s newest forms of metadata, a term typically described as “data about data”. Metadata has historically been used in libraries, as a tool for giving purpose to information that would otherwise be mere strings of words. The data was always intended to add meaning to such strings of words, but the ultimate goal of metadata on the web today is to improve the overall user experience. With the introduction of HTML5, Microdata, and Google Authorship data, collectively referred to by Google as “Rich Snippets” when extracted from web pages, search engines are finally making practical use of this notion and implementing metadata on a large scale.

Adding Authorship Data on Your Website; Microdata and Practical Examples
Industrial Web Design
Industrial web design presents unique challenges. Industrial websites require a creative perspective to translate the work that gets done into attractive communication and marketing tools. They also require specific functionalities for purchasing and product options most of the time.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
At the heart of every website should lie a structure that the search engines can easily access and comprehend. The more attractive your site appears to the users and search engines, the higher it might rank on the search engine results pages (SERP), and the more traffic you can expect to your site.

Making Internet Marketing Fun with Wufoo and CSS3 Animation
We believe that over-saturation is causing ‘snow-blindness’ to lead generation forms. By stepping outside the bounds of a typical lead generation form we are able to tap into a different part of the users psyche. Will it work? That remains to be seen. We assume nothing. This is just a first of many tests. You can see the actual animation here.
The only solid/concrete fact we do have is that this is a completely different approach. Its unprecedented … taking an unproven / untested and decidedly “edgy” lead generation form and implementing it on the home page of an already successful website.
CSS Sprites; Making Them Easy
When designing a website there are often graphic elements that are essential to the look and layout of your site. Often these designs can become very “image-heavy” requiring a huge time investment from the designer having to slice/cut/export all those graphics. It also requires the server to retrieve dozens of images which in turn puts a heavy load on the server. This is why it has become standard to use CSS sprites.
What are CSS Sprites?
Here is a good explanation by Chris Coyier on exactly what CSS sprites are:
Best Landing Page
If you want to be able to analyze the efficacy of your own landing page, consider for a moment the last five websites you visited, focusing specifically on their landing pages. (the first page you ‘landed’ on after clicking an advertisement or banner). Did you stay and ‘click through,’ exploring the website further, or did you close out of the site after just seconds? What ‘worked’ for the site? Now, consider your own landing pages. Take a moment to review analytical numbers for your site, focusing specifically on what visitors did once they landed. How long did they stay? Was that time frame enough to perform a specific action? How do they actually navigate through the site itself? Which links did they click?

Inspiration
Searching YouTube for inspiration I stumbled on to the intro of the classic 1967 spider-man cartoon series. While watching I realized that the animation was very basic. It was the paper doll sort of animation that lends itself perfectly to css3. Hmmm… “I could something like that with a little css3″, I thought.

Why You Should Outsource Web Design?
So, you have a great idea for a product or service that you want to sell on the Internet. How hard could it be? You just need a web site right? A little bit of typing, a little bit of flash and you will be all set, right?
Designing and building your own website is one way to go, but there is a much easier way – outsourcing your website design. Web Design Jacksonville
If you’re in the Jacksonville, FL. Area and can’t decide on a web designer or a web design company, maybe there are a few things you should consider before picking a firm. With today’s technological capabilities, you don’t have to limit yourself to someone that is in your town. You should also consider hiring a web designer that is also a full service internet marketing firm. For E-commerce businesses, it makes more sense to hire an internet marketing firm to design your website in order to implement important SEO strategies during the creation of your website. After the creation of your site, the internet marketing firm will maintain your site, through updates and changes as needed, but more importantly institute the regular ongoing processes of seo or search engine optimization to generate the coveted high organic rankings so necessary for online success. No matter how great the design is, it won’t matter if no one can find you.
